Sun. April 18, 1915
Sunny and HOT. T'was 81 in the shade, but very hard S. wind.
Had 4 at Sunday School and had the same old preacher that gassed in Mr. Blairs absence coming up the line to preach this Sunday too so I beat it and took a walk with Cliff, 'Poley", and "Shrimp."
Read and sat around and to bed. Took bath this A.M. We advertised our house today, but didn't get a bite.
Mon. April 19, 1915
Sunny and hot.
Went downtown after 5th per. and got a cap $1 and 2 summer underwear $3. Home and painted back wheel and mud guards. Had step and driveway put in today and they are fine. Lessons and to bed.
Tues. April 20, 1915
Fine and a little cooler.
Home and put my bike together. Got Willard Craig to take my place at the store. Raked some leaves "etc" in the eve. Took a bike ride around, read, lessons, to bed.
Wed. April 21, 1915
Fine and about 70.
Rode my bike to school and back - practiced till 9 P.X. Home and started to put my mud guard on, cut the bank with the lawnmower, read, lessons, to bed.
