Uncle Clint - my Grandfather's Mother's brother.

Clint to city early. Rec'd letter from Mother. Last evening Clint asked us to drive up to the Springs and we are going to. Floyd and I greased the universal joints and tightened the emergency etc. In aft we drove down and I had the front wheels trued up and got some oil for the gear box - put it in after we got home. I drove down and met Clint at 6:30 and he had supper here. In eve I drove he and Grandpa downtown and around. I have to pack and ship 3 boxes of oranges to the Springs tomorrow for Clint. Talked - Clint down to his house and we to bed.

Thurs. Aug. 26, 1915

Floyd and I up at 6:30 after good sleep and hoed four rows of trees.
