Mother was sick last night and I did not get much repose on the mattress. I got up late and called up Quist to see if I had to work. He said yes, so I got dressed - got a little breakfast and went up at 8:30. Home at 7pm. Mother was up all day, but retired before supper time. Pa and I got sup.
Moderate temp - little above zero I suppose.
Author Note: Doesn't sound like much of a New Years Eve, but he doesn't complain so maybe they weren't big on that then...
