Sunny and fine
Rode over to Floyd's and was going to cut their lawn but didn't. Went downtown in aft.Changed my new high tan shoes for oxfords, met Pa and we bought a suitcase for $3.69, took some films to get prints from, home about 7 P.M. Mrs. Yors called me over and told me that the old bunch had arranges a surprise party for us. Lee's had asked us out riding and so she told me to tell the Lee's to take us for a short ride. I didn't get a chance to tell them because Mother and Pa were right there so about 9P.M. when we were at Minnehaha I told them all - we came home and didn't let on that we knew. About 16 neighbors were on the porch and when e walked up they let out a yell "etc" had ice cream and cake and good time. The ride with Lee's was fine too. Rained about 10:30.

Cool and dull
Our trunks are nearly packed and we are about ready to go. Sim's had us over for dinner and it was a fine eve. Went over to Guilford's in the aft. and Eddy's and they entertained us. Fine supper etc I talked with Grace most of the time. Home about 10 P.M.

Fine most of the day
Went down and changed my suitcase for a better real leather one. Took my blue suit down to have it altered, as it has never been right - home and rode bike down, put it in a crate and left it in back of Peterson's bike shop. Hurried home for dinner at McIntyre's. I excused myself and went around to bid Randall's, Cliff, etc good bye. Met Stew and Walt down by the lake and we walked around while I was waiting for Randall's to get home as they were out. We met Cliff and later R.R and R. Ainsworth took them home and then saw Fred H. and Stan Hall. Home and to bed - Late.
