Downtown and in the afternoon I went to the expo. Mother resting? Saw fine aeroplane flight by Art Smith. Walked up the Zone in the eve and went to room - about 9 - to bed.

One part of The Expo was called The Joy Zone possibly what Grandpa means when he says Zone.
This is The Creation Ride

Downtown and got our ticket and made reservations on S.S. Queen for Los Angeles this afternoon. Took an auto to Golden Gate Park - thru the museum - back got our suit cases and took an auto to the dock. Walked uptown after checking our luggage and had lunch, looked around - down and took boat at 4 P.M. Quite rough when we got out and I got sick again - fed the fish for amusement. Lay down and to bed - did not eat any supper.
