Aug. 10 -12, 1915

Tues. Aug. 10, 1915

Pruned some trees. Floyd and I gathered up prunnings and burned them. I made a black-board sign and put it out in front with Satsumas, peaches, plums and prunes on it. Yesterday and today we sold 70 pounds of Satsumas. Peaches, big red plums (yellow inside) prunes and apples are ripe, but there are no oranges now.

In the eve Floyd and I went to the High School courts and played a set of tennis H6-1F. Read in the eve.

Wed. Aug. 11, 1915

Anaheim. Central Business District along Center Street
Anaheim business district

I got up about 7 and picked 50 pounds of Satsumas and Floyd and I delivered them in the auto - got 1 cent per pound.

I took the muffler off this A.M. and the engine sounded classy. Went down to the store with the muffler off and we delivered 38 pound of prunes at 1 1/2 cent. In the eve Floyd and I read and played a tie game of checkers.

Thurs. Aug. 12, 1915

Worked in the A.M. Then we took a fumigating canvas and made a tent out of it. Floyd and I played horse-shoe and in the eve the folks and Harners went out riding and heard the band. Floyd and I walked down and went to The Mason and saw Charlie Chaplin.

Author note: Charlie Chaplin made many short films in 1915. Here is one of them A NIGHT IN THE SHOW.
